Game progress and preferences
Torres del Eclipse saves unlocked levels, stars, and your sound and language preferences on your device. The game does not ask you to create an account, does not offer chat or a public leaderboard, and does not synchronize saved games through our own server. An ongoing level is not saved when you close the application.
The application does not ask for your real name, email, contacts, photographs, camera, microphone or precise GPS location to play. This description of the game does not mean that advertising or hosting services do not process technical data.
Optional ads on Android
The Android edition includes Google AdMob for rewarded ads that you choose to watch: receive 40 gold between waves or retry the last wave once per run. You can play the campaign without watching ads. Advertising requires a connection and may be unavailable.
The current advertising configuration requests non-personalized ads, a maximum ad content rating of G, and restricted treatment for minors for all players. It does not enable the publisher's own identifier for personalization. These restrictions do not assign an age rating to the game or mean that no data is processed.
Google explains that its SDK may collect and share the IP address and approximate location derived from it, interactions with the app and ads, diagnostic information, and technical device or account identifiers. It uses this information to provide advertising, analyze its performance and prevent fraud. The application's restrictions may limit some identifiers and uses. The game does not integrate other advertising mediation providers.
The application checks privacy status through User Messaging Platform (UMP) at startup. It only initializes and loads ads when that service indicates that ads can be requested. Ads may be preloaded before you press a reward button; choosing not to watch an ad therefore does not prevent all processing by the SDK. The messages and options available depend on applicable rules and the restricted configuration.
You can read how Google uses information from partner applications, its privacy policy, and its SDK data disclosures.
Authorization in the Amazon Appstore edition
In the edition intended for Amazon Appstore, we request the age verification and family authorization signal provided by Amazon when the game starts and when you return to it. We use only the status and, where applicable, the age range to allow access from age 13. This data is processed temporarily on the device: we do not send it to our servers or save it in files or preferences. We do not read the user identifier or approval date that the API may provide. This check does not ask for a date of birth or a PIN inside the game; verification and consent are managed by Amazon. Read Amazon's information about these signals.
Privacy options
The “Privacy” link in the menu and pause screen opens this policy. If the service indicates that advertising options must be available, “Ad choices” appears so that you can review them. The restricted configuration for minors may not offer the same forms as an adult configuration.
You can also use the privacy and advertising controls in Android and your Google account. These controls do not guarantee that all processing needed to provide or protect the services will stop. If you are a parent or guardian with questions about a minor's information, use the contact above.
Desktop and browser editions
The macOS and browser editions do not use AdMob. When you play in the browser, progress is saved in the local storage space the browser assigns to the site. Clearing its data or using a mode that does not retain it may delete your progress. It is not synchronized with the Android edition or other devices.
Unity Analytics and the engine's cloud diagnostics and crash services are disabled in the project. The game does not integrate Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
Update notices
Starting with version 2.1.2, Android checks a version file on our hosting service to notify you when an update is available. The request does not include your progress or a player identifier. The server receives technical connection data, such as the IP address. The game saves the last check and whether you have already seen the notice locally. You can postpone the update and keep playing; the Update button opens the download page or the corresponding store.
Website and hosting
This website is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. When you open it, the browser transmits technical data needed to serve the page, such as the IP address and request information. Firebase uses request information to provide and protect hosting; its documentation states that it retains IP data for a few months. This website does not add forms, advertising cookies, pixels or our own analytics scripts. Read Firebase's privacy information.
If you follow a store link or send an email, those services process the communication or visit under their own policies. A support link opens your email application; it does not send a message automatically.
Retention and deletion
Local progress and preferences remain until you delete them or the system removes them. On Android, you can use Settings → Apps → Torres del Eclipse → Storage → Clear data; names may vary. This deletes your stars, unlocked levels and local settings. In the browser, use the controls for clearing site data. For the macOS edition, you can ask support for deletion instructions.
Android may include game data in backups or transfers, depending on your settings. Deleting local data does not automatically remove those backups or data already received by providers. You can manage backups through the system and your account controls. Read Android's backup information.
Google sets its data retention periods based on data type, purpose and obligations. We do not promise our own retention period for information managed by its services. Read how Google retains data and about its access and deletion mechanisms.
If you contact support, we will receive your email and the information you include to handle your request. We will retain that communication for as long as needed to resolve and follow up on it; we will then delete it, except for information that must be retained for a legal obligation, security or a claim. We do not add these email addresses to advertising lists. You can request access, correction or deletion by writing to the same contact.
Security and international services
Local data is stored in the space assigned to the application or site. Google documents the use of TLS to encrypt its advertising SDK data in transit. No system can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in different countries under their policies and terms; the links above explain their protection mechanisms.
Changes and contact
We will update this page when the game's information processing changes, showing the revised date and version. If a change requires a new privacy decision, it will be requested through the corresponding mechanism. For questions or requests: these7encodes@gmail.com.
